Ashtavinayak literally means "eight Ganeshas" in Sanskrit. Ganesh is the Hinduism/Hindu deity of unity, prosperity & learning and removes obstacles. which are situated around Pune. They are Moreshwar, Mahaganpati, Chintamani, Girijatmaj, Vigneshwar, Siddhivinayak, Ballaleshwar and Varad Vinayak.
Everybody should visit the Ashtavinayak in Maharashtra at least once in a life time. According to Shastra, first you have to visit Moreshwar of Moregaon. Then Second visit to Siddhatek Siddhivinayak, Pali Ballaleshwar, Mahad Varadvinayak, Theur Chintamani, Girijatmaj, Ozar Vigneshwar, Ranjangaon Maha Ganapati and then again Moregaon will end you Ashtavinayak Yatra. Vinayak is another name for Ganesh, the god loved and worshiped by Hindus all over India. Lord Ganesha is the protector of his devotees. Eight (Astha) naturally-formed sculpted stone statues have been housed in old temples at the places where these statues were first found. Ashtavinayak temples are range of 20 to 110 Km of each other.

1st Day

Departure from Pune. En-route proceed to Morgaon (Mayureshwar Ganpati darshan) the first Ganpati of Ashtavinayak. After Darshan proceed to Siddhatek (Siddhivinayak Ganpati darshan). Later proceed to Theur (Chintamani Ganpati darshan). Proceed to Ranjangaon (Mahaganpati darshan). After proceed to Ozar (Vighneshwar Ganpati darshan). Overnight stay at Ozar OR Lenyadri.
2nd Day

Early morning proceed to Lenyadri (Girijatmaj Ganpati Darshan), it is situated on hills which is having around 350 steps to reach. After proceed to Mahad (Varad Vinayak Ganpati Darshan). Later proceed to Pali (Ballaleshwar Ganpati darshan). After proceed to Pune.
